Site Engineer

We are looking for a dedicated and responsible Site Engineer for PEB projects to supervise and manage on-site construction activities. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring quality work execution, safety compliance, productivity, and timely completion of PEB structure erection and related civil/mechanical activities.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Site Execution & Supervision

  • Supervise day-to-day site activities related to PEB structure erection and installation.
  • Ensure work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and project timelines.
  • Coordinate with contractors, fabricators, welders, riggers, and other site workers.
  • Monitor steel structure alignment, bolting, welding, sheeting, and finishing work.
  • Ensure proper utilization of manpower, materials, and equipment at site.

  1. Project Coordination

  • Coordinate with project managers, clients, consultants, and vendors.
  • Maintain proper communication between office and site teams.
  • Prepare daily progress reports (DPR) and update project status regularly.
  • Handle material inspection and verify site requirements.

  1. Quality Control

  • Ensure quality standards are maintained during erection and installation activities.
  • Check dimensions, levels, and structural alignment as per drawings.
  • Report any non-conformance or technical issues to management immediately.

  1. Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure all workers follow site safety rules and PPE requirements.
  • Conduct toolbox talks and maintain safety records.
  • Coordinate with safety officers for accident prevention and compliance.
  • Ensure no alcohol, smoking, or unsafe practices at the workplace.

  1. Documentation

  • Maintain site records, attendance, work progress, and inspection reports.
  • Prepare measurement sheets and support billing documentation.
  • Maintain checklists, permits, and project documentation.

Required Qualifications

  • Diploma / B.Tech Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 1–5 years of experience in PEB, steel structure, or industrial construction projects.
  • Freshers with good technical knowledge may also apply for junior positions.
