Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Safety Engineer / Safety Officer to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, promote a safe working environment, and minimize workplace risks. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in safety management and a proactive approach to hazard prevention.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor workplace health and safety policies and procedures
- Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments
- Identify hazards and recommend corrective/preventive measures
- Ensure compliance with statutory safety regulations and standards
- Conduct safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness programs for employees
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses; prepare detailed reports
- Maintain safety records, documentation, and reports
- Coordinate with management and site teams to enforce safety protocols
- Ensure proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) across sites
Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in safety roles
- Diploma/Degree in Safety Engineering, Industrial Safety, or related field
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards
- Good communication and reporting skills
